The Gunslinger by ~GizTheGunslinger

It’s my first painting drawn with acrylic. I started drawing it on 27th February in 2009 and it’s only this year when I finished it. I’m not being funny - four years on one picture. Mostly because I was too lazy yo draw it and because I was afraid to damage it. Though I did so from the start. You can see bloody pencil lines on his face, because I was drawing sketch with the help of squares, but after sketching I didn’t even erase them.
If you’re common to “The Dark Tower” stuff then you can easily guess that I based my drawing on THIS picture.
Anyway I am quite pleased with the result. I am no good in painting, but this drawing is not so bad.
Original size of this drawing is 22,5 x 33,5 cm.
Tools: pencil, acrylic, watercolor paper.

A little bit of a self-advertisement. For a long time I had quite little in common with such “modern” stuff as Instagram (mostly because I had prehistoric mobile phone), but finally I made an account there. And I want to share it with you. I do not load any pics with myself or my friends, only photos of my drawings and other nice things. Practically no food pics there too. So, you see, I am trying to be nice and not tiresome :)
A sketch with Richard Armitage.
I was watching “Four Lions” and out of a sudden in the end of the film there was Benedict Cumberbatch. I didn’t even know that he was in that film.
